Simplified, the Most Agitating List..

It's been a good minute since I submitted a new post. I've been receiving messages on myspace where people have requested me to continue blogging. I was kind of shocked to be honest. People read these days...on top of that..people read my perspectives? Anyways, I feel to an extent flattered that certain people have asked that I add to my blog. Well, with regards the other posts I have dropped, this one will be simplified in comparison. One thing you'll learn about my writing is..sometimes I can be technical with language, other times..like today.., it'll be simplified. I think when I utilize more of the english language on certain posts it's because of the seriousness of the topic or I'm really trying to get my point across effectively. Right now, this post is just random..so I won't be, I can already tell.
So, as you can see, the title of this post is, "Simplified, the Most Agitating List." Yeah, these are a list of things that I find extremely lame. No, I'm not about to cry about the world..or ask for pity. These are just things I see and think of at times when I'm out and about--or just have some down time for myself. So, in no particular order....

1. HipHop Music -- though I'm a skilled participant, I can barely stand this genre and its sub-genres any longer. Right now, I'm listening to "Black Dawn" with Bronze Nazareth--cool shit. He doesn't sound like anyone else and he got his own slang. Slang is a term I came up with for someone's actual verbal craft. This is the same thing I strive for as far as Pre-D (my musically enlightened peoplez...better known as PreDestiNation) goes. I really respect catz that have their OWN SOUND/SLANG. Sometimes new expression can be whack, but I'll hear it out. But I do think, if you got skills..plus ya new slang..you'll make some live music on the real. Skills are skills regardless. But yeah, alot of other participants are responsible for how I feel about this crap..it might even be YOU or someone you know that spits. I still enjoy cats who got and show skill., but I don't feel alot of these nickel and dime rappers, or these "talk" rappers, or these cupcakes who be rhymin about somethin insignificant like thing that happened "one day" in their lives. This excludes the radio bullshit. That music is strictly faghop. GROWN ass men making bird calls.., talking about what they have, what they drink, and how much they do it. I won't even address it.


2. Female wanna-be Gangbangers -- Anyone from the Midwest to the West Coast knows what I'm talking about. I posted this because I just saw a chick I knew from back in the day on myspace. She hit me up..and come to find out..she's a "blood" now. What is your purpose? She is on the net thuggin, her page is decked out with red bandanas., and the chick got the nerve to be rockin burgandy in almost every pic. I'm asking myself, do you really know what a blood is? To make matters worst, chick is from Cuba. What ARE YOU DOING YO? But yeah, I know she's not a gangbanger, and she's perpetrating (which WILL get you deaded).....but that whole hardcore female image shit is played out. No one is saying be a pushover, but to be on that tip constantly is really annoying..and at the end of the day...in that world, men put their hands on chicks..and we all know how that ends up most times. All of this...over what? The same ol..he say she say..he disrespected me...etc..etc. Sorry, wake up..people aint 16 no more, it's NOT WORTH IT. Yeah, so she got her friend's request denied. LAME.


3. Men who rock Skinny Jeans -- WTF. Yo, I'm not biased against any type of size of jeans on anyone to be honest. But if you're in front of me..and you look like a chick...you're doing too much..or really too less. Besides, that's a health hazard. Men's southern regions are not SUPPOSED to be compressed and balled up into some tighty whities or SKINNY JEANS. The problems that can arise from that are ridiculous. I can stand some slacks, dockers, cargos even from Old Navy or somethin, but skinny jeans on men? Let the females have their thing. That unisex ish is cool for like headbands, some hats, and some other ish obviously, but yo..when it looks like you stole your LITTLE SISTER'S jeans...that just isn't fly. You can't even put ya hand in your own pocket. No peeps, I don't go out hunting down men who wear skinny jeans, I just happen to be out and about..then bam...here comes some gumby lookin cat. Straightup, this "hipster" crap...whatever you wanna do.., trends are trends....do you...cool. But, that doesn't mean you got to get the skinniest jeans.., you can't even bend your knees..nada. ONE thing I'm happy about here is.., brothas in the hood....don't do that. Overall, LET IT BREATHE...nuff said.

4. Good hair vs Bad hair complex amongst Black people -- If this isn't one of the most annoying perspectives ever brought up in life. Ok, here's an example, you know that lame blacksploitation tv show called, "real chance of love?" Ok, well that one cat who has a part down the middle of his hair like Alice in Wonderland.., his name is Real I think. Unfortunately, alot of black chicks will claim, "well he has good hair." <--Wtf are you talking about? Because his hair is straighter than his sexuality means he has good hair? I'm confused. So I'm asking black chicks....WHO DETERMINED THE STANDARD FOR "GOOD" HAIR? Secondly, what determines or makes "good" hair? I could on for ages about this, but I'm just gonna ask the above questions first. Who awakened one day and said, "this is good hair, and this is bad hair." I'm so sick of hearing stuff like, "I got that good hair." And I'm sick of black chicks and nonblacks not comprehending the fact that NOT ALL BLACK WOMEN..LET ALONE PEOPLE..HAVE IDENTICAL HAIR. That's like saying we all look alike. I think this whole debate is idiocy. I'll await some answers, then I'll drop my 2 cents. Same thing with certain sisters and the FOUNDATION they will put on their faces. Ashamed?


5. Men with perms -- Why? Put it like this...regardless of how I feel about Barack Obama, I'm happy he does NOT have a perm.

THE WRETCHED

Indefinitely, for the individual who has established a cohesive correlation with life's ubiquitous antagonist, his/her nemesis is consistently a positive and infamous force. The "conscious" person who has this unique bond with adversity possesses a certain idiosyncrasy that differs from another individual who is not as "awake" in contrast. The initial is aware of the cyclic struggle regardless of how it materializes. The second really has no clue until it ultimately slaps him or her in the face. So prior to the blatant self revelation, he/she strives to entertain complete bliss while subconsciously really battling. One, he is already bliss for the most part and if this person is passionately reaching for the state of blissfulness..he's unknowingly trying to heal a wound. These wounds to this individual are perceived as extremely damaging. Why? Because this person, as I stated before, is not completely "awake." No matter how significant or less the damage is, it's all taken in, treated and responded to the same. The damage can be so intimidating the person can actually become delusional or even fanatical, entertaining thoughts/actions of virginal newness and expressing acute nearsightedness. The counterparts of this person will champion his newly founded cause and efforts. Usually the support group functions and operates on a sub-level to their companion--these people are the ones who are NOT awake at all. Sorry people, only 1 or 2 to a group at most who have the light bulb on above their heads. So, this combination is extremely influentially volatile. As a result of self-proclaimed newly acquired perspective accompanied by the support group, the person can become detached with reality and even self. But, he or she will never see the predicament. All in all, on a personal level, I prefer to walk amongst the "wretched,"--people who have grown accustom to and aware of adversity. The ongoing struggle develops character, trust, relation and empathy. People enduring a similar "crisis" on the path of life usually end up intelligently oblivious to social constructs or limitations that continue to segregate people. This group of people regardless of their level of society's education have an edge on most people as far as survival, life trials and tribulations, etc. Their ability to relate and communicate is uncanny. A lot can be learned by these individuals. They may also seek peace...but it is a truly conscious level of "happiness." The opposite of the bliss state others hope to find. The logic is, "reality is reality." The other's mentality resembles more of an escapist or tries to manipulate reality into something else that he sees fit. Either you run or overcome....and the saying goes, "people usually run from their problems."

Prospering Dreams of Realistic Adversity

First and foremost, peace yall. Many of yall, my peoples, comrades, acquaintances, even indirect enemies..etc...positively and notoriously know of me as SubliminaL. Some others refer to me as Lazarus. Regardless, I just wanted to introduce myself. I've decided to start blogging beyond myspace. My fam Black Sunn put me onto this site. I really do this for personal reasons, one of the many being I enjoy expressive writing..hence the reason why I scribe 16s on a daily basis for the most part. My craft and explicit art has given me the title as an uncompromising lyricist. I actually take pride in that reputation based off the fact I feel like conformity is synonymous with being a hooker. Most of my art expresses profane material...and if anyone knows me by it....they would probably think that was definitely an understatement. My pen strikes with a truly controversial and chaotic element. I just call it..being honest.

As you can see, the title of this blog is Prospering Dreams of Realistic Adversity--that sounds to an extent kind of oxymoronic huh? Well, I think it's safe to say we have all have dreams for the most part. Each dream we contemplate has a unique scenario that it is attached. It could be one of success, love, goals, today, tomorrow and the distant future. I'm a dream-walker. My zodiac is Pisces. I honestly possess a different view of reality than most. I think what we see, touch, taste, feel, hear...etc..is only an illusion, regardless of its realistic attributes and happenings. I strongly believe it's only a small extent of the real and genuine reality that exist. But because it so "real" to others, many people fall victim to it and the emotions it stirs within the hearts of them. It's not an infatuation if others don't realize what lies beneath the surface, so no one can blame anyone in this category for perceiving and feeling the way he or she does.

What is really occurring is constant struggle. Some people dream to cure the pain of this continuous endeavor. I think most natural people experience some sort of opposing force on the walk of life. Something that I've realized is people become extremely amicable when you're prospering, but when adversity strikes..most tend to vanish. Regardless, it is what it is.


What is it that you want? What is it that I want? Are your wants fueled by outside sources...can you honestly even answer that question...or figure it out? Is your want a dream?
Mine is. Many of my dreams I've accomplished....and there are more to come. But I do have one dream that continues to go unaccomplished. And personally, I'm becoming exhausted of dreaming.....

Every bit of patience and diligence that I have...has practically been tested to the utmost degree possible. I'm not complaining.....now I've become indifferent. Hope is for suckaz.. too much patience is for cowards..and excuses are for the weak hearted...
Either you stand...or you fall....
